Guests have a generous continental breakfast available in the dining room where a large sideboard buffet is set up with a range of cereals, orange juice, breads for toast, yoghurts, fresh fruit and strawberries, canned fruit and Carolyn’s specially prepared prunes in port and apricots in brandy.

Tea and brewed coffee come on a silver service tray, pending the arrival of heated croissants. 

Gluten free breakfast can be provided by prior arrangement and a cooked breakfast likewise can be made available by prior arrangement on the previous evening at an extra cost of $12 per person.

There is a wide range of tea, coffee and other hot drinks outside of breakfast time and there is always a supply of cool bottled water in the refrigerator to drink or take to the rooms. Toasters, kettle and microwave oven are available for use as required.

 

The dining room is set off by an open fireplace in marble surround with furnishings and brass light pendants that add a touch of class and old world atmosphere to ensure the day gets off to a pleasant start.
